Hi Hikmetotheron,

It's not at all clear from your attachment what the macro is supposed to do. If it's to do with deleting some paragraph marks before 'REPORT' and inserting one after, that can be done with a simple Find/Replace operation, without the need for a macro.

Default Hello again

Hello. If you don't mind, I want a macro program which replaces related page numbers to appendix numbers which are written in parentheses at the end of some paragraphs of the word file report.

Here's an modified concrete example for that macro program attached to my reply.

Thank you.

Hi Hikmetotheron,

I don't believe it will be feasible to do that with a macro. For the code to work out where the page references for each of the paragraphs in the upper portion of the page come from would be quite problematic. Indeed, it seems that what you really need is to either use a Table of Contents field (with corresponding Heading Styles for it to link to) or build up an Index, using Index fields.
