Can someone let me know how to paste a line of text in a numbered list from Word to another app and not have it paste in the line number also?

I have tried all the different settings under Options - Advanced - Cut, Copy, and Paste and nothing works. No matter what I update the settings to, the numbering is always copied over along with the text I highlighted.

I am using Windows 7 (64 bit) and Office 2010.
