Why when the image is resized then it disappears?

sometimes, as we resize the image (CTRL + draging one of the corners) then it disappears!!!!! why?

Hi Jamal,

Word has exhibited this annoying habit for many years. It seems it has something to do with how you have specified its anchoring. You may have more success if you chnage the image's layout so that it doesn't move with the text and has its position determined relative to the page/margins rather than the text.

I just resolved this EXACT problem in Word. Every time I tried to enlarge the picture past the half-way point horizontally, Word chopped off the right-hand side of the graphic. In my case, I had COLUMNS set to TWO immediately above the picture -- even though there was a section break between the columns and the picture.

I placed the cursor right above the graphic and set the COLUMNS to ONE (Page Layout, Columns). Now I can resize the picture to cover the whole width of the page. Word no longer displays only half the graphic.

I changed the text wrapping to square, resized it appropriately and changed the wrapping to none, then placed it where I wanted it. This stopped it disappearing.
