Default Saving edited symbols - is this possible?

Hi all

Just wondering if it is possible to save edited symbols and then assign some sort of shortcut to the edited version.

The reason I ask is because I need to use card symbols quickly and often when word processing but at the moment can only insert the black version and then change the colour manually each time.

This is very time consuming and I need to be able to insert the card suits with the correct colour quicker.

Ideally I would like to be able to save a blue diamond, red heart, black spade and green club and then assign shortcuts to each.

Any ideas??

thanks
