Smile Writing a manual

Hi,

I am preparing a training manual in word having INDEX on first page. I prepared index by usinr reference command which is directing me to go each topics thru INDEX page.

Now when i am reading tarining material and i want to go to another topic then i have to go on first page manually bu dragging the pagaes thru cursor.

My Aim:
I want to make a "BACK" icon on each page which will bring me back on INDEX page. ( i have more than 200 pages and i dont want to type each page "BACK text)

I tried:
I tried by putting "BACK" text in footer and found that it is not user friendly.
I tried by putting "BACK" text manually on each page but when i add or delete any text this "BACK" text also move.(which i dont want).

Please help me in this regard.
