Default Text Entry affecting text below it

Hi,

I've created a template that has one fairly large area in it that is to be filled with text.
This text varies in amount etc.

No matter what method I have tried thus far, when I type into that area, once you hit "enter" any text below it gets "bumped" out of place.
I need that area to remain static in size so as to not affect the text below it.

Right now it is just wide open space that you can type in but once you reach the end of your line and click "enter" it moves the text below that same amount in the downward direction.

How do I define that area for typing without putting a "box" around or other sort of definition of the space?

Please see the screen shot attached and maybe that will describe what I am trying to accomplish.

Any an all help would be greatly appreciated.
