Image connected to pagenumber
Hi!
I'm looking for a way to be able to connect an image to a pagenumber in the footer of a document. I'm using Word 2003. I know I can insert an image in the footer. However, I want it to be positioned like the pagenumber. On the outside of the page. So, on one page it has to be on the rightside of the pagenumber on the leftside of the footer and on the other page it has to be on the left side of the pagenumber on the right side of the page. Is this possible in Word 2003? If not, how can I create a similar look? Manon |

Odd and even
You should be able to do this with an odd & even Page Layout, available through File/Page set-up, if I recall properly. Just set up the odd and even footers as you like, and they will propagate automatically.
Just be careful to use section breaks with care, if you insert a landscape or other sized page. Word needs both sides of the virtual page to be the same, just as if it were a physical page. Otherwise, it will try to continuously re-paginate. Best, Ulodesk |
