Word2003 Converted to PDF
Hi,
First of all I would like to apologyze for potential spelling errors or stuff like that since my first language is French. I'm having an issue with a user at my job whose trying to convert a .doc into a pdf using Word 2003 and Acrobat 9 Pro Inside his .doc are many "hyperlinks?" pointing inside its own file and they are all working fine. The problem is that when he's converting his file, about 50% of these links gets erased. I don't see any differences in his .doc between working links and non-working links. When he is trying with office 2007 ( at home ), everything works fine. ( But he can't use it at work ) Samething with OpenOffice which he can't use at job either and anyway, it looks ugly using it. Any Idea ? Thanks alot Etienne Lambert, TorN |

Try doPDF. It works like a printer but converts to PDF perfectly: http://www.dopdf.com/ When you want to convert, you go to Print in Word and select doPDF as your printer. Then you can chose where to store the PDF file. Bonne chance.

Thanks Alot WHS,
But there's is two problems with your solution; First of all, since it's not an official software at my job, we can't use it. Second, When you use Print to PDF, Links are not saved at all, it's just an image of the file ( which is perfect indeed ) . |

Hmm, with your job problem I cannot help you, But hyperlinks are perfectly converted from my 2007 docs. That must be a specific 2003 problem which I cannot test. Sorry.
