Question Template Footers and Tracked Changes

Using Word 2003: I am working on a template with a footer that must be changed, and I am tracking my changes for review. When I make the necessary changes to the footer, the footer completely disappears in 'final' display, although it shows up in the 'final showing markup' display and the 'original showing markup' display. Even after accepting changes to the footer, the footer will not show up in 'final'. What is going on here?

Hi soross,

Without seeing the document, it's difficult to say what the cause might be. Can you attach a sanitized copy to a post?
