Question 3 Simple Questions (screenshots attached)

Hello,

I am having 3 problems with my Microsoft Office document, my resume.

1) Whenever I try to put a simple border around a table heading, I get an extra bar at the top. I have tried to do it one side at a time, but for some reason when whenever I click the either of the side borders, the top one comes up

2) The second is that whenever I try attaching a side border to one of my tables, it simply does not work, even when I try to do it manually.

3) I need to get rid of page break

I have attached 3 screenshots of the issues, all describing the issue number corresponding with this post and an arrow pointing directly to the problem.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks!

Hi smaan,

For the first problem, the screenshot suggests you have a border around the text within the cell, and then you're adding a boder to the cell itself. If you don't want that, you need to re-think what you're doing - perhaps have the whole cell highlighted and bordered.

For the second pronlem, it looks like your highlighted & bordered paragraph has a rhs margin outside the cell boundary, hence the rhs edge of the paragraph formatting is being cut off. Either change the paragraph formatting or apply the same fix as suggested for the first problem.

For the third problem, that doesn't look like a page break - which appears as a dotted line following the last character on the page, after which a new page begins. Your line looks more like a table or page border at the top of the page.
