Linking an image that is not embedded
So what I want to do is insert a hyperlink into the document that links to an image that is somehow saved in the document (sort of like the 'embed and link' option without the embedding.
The main issue I have is that I need the image stored in the document (not just linked to a file on my computer) because I need the link to work if this document is sent to other people. Does anybody have any tips or know if this is possible? |

Hi charismarl,
What you're describing suggests you need a link that uses relative paths, instead of the absolute paths Word normally uses. To see how to implement relative paths in Word, check out the solution I've posted at: http://lounge.windowssecrets.com/index.php?showtopic=670027
