Default User Defined Default Settings in Insert

I insert shapes into .jpg documents every day to create an outline around a building. I always use a red line with line width of 1.25 and no fill. Every time I perform this operation, I have to remove fill, change line color to red, and increase line width to 1.25. After hitting ok, there is an option on the drop down box for Set Auto Shape. I click this, but the next time i create a shape, the original default parameters are back.

Is there any way to really lock in my default parameters? I want my parameters every time I perform this operation.
