Autocorrect entries with astrix at the end
I have some autocorrect entries that autmatically have an astrix at the end of the word of phrase. These entries don't work in outlook or other office programs for some reason. The entries without an astrix work in other programs like outlook. Does anyone have any idea what the astrix means and how to get rid of it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try going into the auto correct options to see if you can pick out any errors there.
Word button - word optios - proofing - auto correct options Once there it will list all your auto correct defaults in the table. Have a look at the words which are coming out srong to see if there is anything noticably different. Hope that helps Sorry if I'm 'teaching you to suck eggs' |

Thanks for your suggestion. What I have noticed about the entries that will not work in outlook have an astrix at the end of the phrase for some reason, I didn't put it there. I've deleted the entries and reentered them and still the astrix is there.
