Hi,
I am sure this has been covered before but I can't find it. Sorry if we are going over old ground. I have multiple documents which I would like to number consecutively. The documents names are as follows: 01 - Front Sheet.doc 04 - Bill.doc 08 - Schedules.doc 09 - Certificates.doc 10 - Back Sheet.doc Page 1 will be in 01 - Front Sheet.doc and then go from there. I would like to be able to have this work across multiple instances of these documents so I can add consecutive numbering to documents of these names every time they are created. I have seen a method with a Table of Contents document but I am unsure how I go about it. Also, the documents will always have the above names but they will have different numbers of pages each time and the file path will change every time. The first page number should be Page 2 and appear on page 2 - I can hopefully achieve this by checking @Different first page'. Ideally I would like to be able to do this with a couple of clicks rather than doing the whole process each time. If there is a VBA solution then I am happy to implement this. Any help greatly appreciated. If you need any further information please just ask. Thanking you in advance George |
