Insert bullets and heading
LO! I would love to figure out how to automate, or at least greatly simplify, a frequent task in Word. I frequently want to create a heading and bulleted list in a document as follows: first line: bold and centered second line: not bold and left third line: not bold and left, bullets, I want the bullets from the far left, upper line under "outline numbered", in other words, the wingding font hierarchical bullets. And then return the cursor to the first line, so I can begin taking notes Now, I tried a macro but macros will not record things for which there is no key press, so although the first bullet is there, there is no formatting for subsequent bullets. I cannot put in all of the bullets manually, and even if I could, I may not use them, so it would just complicate things. I looked at automator but it gave me an error when I tried to run the sequence above; the error says nothing about why it did not work. In any event, the clipboard cannot keep neither the formatting of the bullets that I want, nor the alignment in general, so I can't figure that out. I can't see how I can use a template, as I don't want a new document but want to insert this into an existing document and I want to be able to insert this typically several times into the same document. I could not get autotext to work, as it does not seem to understand bullets. Sooo, I'm out of ideas, anyone got any?
