Question How to sort table having three columns?

hi to all brothers

I have a table around 300 pages, it is poets of Pashto Language, like that:

رنګ يې مه ګوره چي تور دی | ___ | ګران د خولې پرګايو جوړ دی
3 ______________ 2 _____________ 1

and thousands of rows like that, now I want to sort all of these rows from A-Z, the second column is empty and the third one is a part of first column, that means the poet have two parts, first is in first column and second in third column, so I want to sort only by first column, the other part of poet should automatically changed with its first part to every it goes the third part should also go over there, think like that three columns are one row.

now when I select the table and click the sort button and set the options word gives me a message:
[Word Found no Valid records to sort.]
I tried it in both Word 2003 and 2007.

I hope from brothers to solve for me this problem.

great thanks

Barak
