How to update automatically the “file name” as we do for the “Date”?
Hello, Please, see the attached images that show my question As we use the file name to be printed on the document, then if we change the name of the file then the file name printed in the document is not automatically changed! Please, note that for the date we have an option to make it automatic, so why we don’t have it for the file name? Thank you Regards Jamal |

Hi Jamal,
Make sure Word is configured to update fields before printing. See under Word Options|Display.
