![]() I have made a few forms in word that we use over and over. How do I get the "date" to change to today's date, each time I open the form? On my excel forms, the date auto changes to today's. But, how do I get my word document to change? Thanks to everyone. |

Hi dssxxx,
You can use a DATE field, a CREATEDATE field, a PRINTDATE field or a SAVEDATE field, all of which work a bit differently. You can insert any of these via Insert|Quick Parts|Field.

Paul, Sorry for the late response. I got your answer in my email and immediately spent the next few hours changing my documents over to your suggestion. It worked like a charm and I cannot thank you enough. I try and read for my answers and most of the time find them....this one I did not but Paul came though. Again, thank you very much. |
