Word thinks my table is a list
I'm trying to copy and paste a table from one Word document into another. I hit the little Paste Options button and sometimes it says "Continue List" or "Paste as a New List". But it's not a list, it's a table. I want it to say "Keep Source Formatting". And sometimes it says "Merge with Existing List" but there is no existing list. HELP! |

Hi felicitator72,
I suspect the 'problem' message is because either or both tables include paragraphs with list numbering applied, and you're being given the option to continue the numbering sequence that's in the target document or retain the source document's numbering sequence.
