Thanks Paul! Here's the issue:
I am using the "Automatic Table of Contents" (two styles given that aren't manual), so the table decides what text format to give me based on the "rank" of the title (i.e. Heading1, Heading2, Heading3) and assigns bold without prejudice to all words formated to Heading1. Even when I go to "Options" or "Modify", it only seems to give options for different style headings as a whole - what I'm afraid of is every time the table gets updated, it will destroy/trump all of the manual formatting (such as bolding only a few words in each Heading1 style). Any thoughts? BRYAN PS - Maybe there's another automatic style online? Word always shows me "No online content available" for extra TOCs, so I haven't looked. PPS - I'm assuming Manual style means it will not automatically pick up my headings and arrange them? That feature is still important to me. |
