Default Word: Issue where Word keeps saying to 'Save' even though have just saved it

Hi

I'm having an issue with Word at work, where I save a document and then on attempting to close it, it then comes up with the message box "Want to save your changes to 'document name'", as though I am closing it WITHOUT saving it.

If I then open the document, it has clearly been saved, but the message is annoying and makes you question whether you've saved it or if there is an underlying issue!

Advice appreciated.

Thanks
