I'm trying to add sections between chapters in a long document. The reason is so that I can reset the footnote numbers in the new section to start at 1, as per CMOS. I watched a tutorial that said to use "next page" in the layout tab for this. However, that sticks a blank page between the end of one chapter and the next chapter/section. Is there a way to avoid that? Thanks. |
