When you have a document with headers and footers, and need a different first page, you can select this option in your document layout settings. Go to File/Page set-up, and select the layout tab. Select Different first page.

However, Word's default, I believe, is the remove headers and footers from the first page, so don;t be surprised if it does. After that, you simply need to adjust the first and second pages as you wish.
