Hello,
I am create a resume in Word. So far it looks like the attachment original.png. What I'd like to do is add a dark green bubble around the text: "TARGET: Senior Software Developer" so it looks like the attachment mock.png. I insert a rectangular shape with round corners, make adjustments, and I get attachment bubble over top.png. Then I right click on it, hover over Send to Back, and select Send Behind Text. I get attachment move back.png. It seems to disappear. Why? I tried the other options under Send to Back (Send to Back and Send Backwards) but they didn't do anything. I'm wondering if it's because the text and the shape are in a table cell. The entire page is a table with different background colors per section/cell. Is it sending the shape behind the table (and cannot be seen because of the cell background color)? How do I overcome this? I'm also attaching the document itself (new resume.docx). It was made in Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021. |

Steps to do this:
1. Select the cell and change its fill to 'No color' 2. Insert an oval shape and change its fill to 'No color'. You can use a standard oval, a rectangle with rounded corners, or the oval shape from the flowchart symbols for this. 3. Position and resize the shape over the 'TARGET: Senior Software Developer' text. 4. Change the shape's color to whatever you want and set its outline to 'No Outline' 5. Change the shape's wrapping to 'behind text'.
