Some members of this forum have noted that this feature has been removed in the latest version of Word. However, it still shows up when we go to the FN seperator settings.
Being that I have a lot of long FN that many times span over multiple pages does anyone have an elegant workaround how to show that this FN is a continuation of the previous one. Thank you, and have a good day! Susan Flamingo |

I guess you are referring to the Footnote Continuation Separator? That option is still available for backward compatibility. If you save the document in an older format, such as *.doc, the chosen setting for Footnote Continuation Separator will be used in the document.
What is still supported in the most recent *.docx format is to use the Footnote Continuation Notice. Of course, although it has a related function, it won't display in the same location as that of the Footnote Continuation Separator.
