Sorry. I found a page to answer my question. However, the instructions don't work for me in Word 2019 on Windows 10. I have an endnote page at the end of a chapter. However, Word, like it would for a footnote, put a separator line above the first note. I want the endnotes on a separate page with no seperator line, like a normal book or article. How can I have endnotes but get rid of the separator line? The page I found said to go to View and choose draft. Then double-click on any endnote. However, in draft mode, my endnotes all disappeaed. So this isn't the answer. Thanks. |

Choose Draft view, then go to the footnotes panel on the references tab and choose 'show notes'. You can then click on the dropdown that appears just above the first endnote and modify the endnote separators, etc.
