I just bought a new laptop for my 91 year old mom. She will only use it to write and print letters using Microsoft Word. Just to keep things simple, once it's set up, I'm going to keep the computer completely offline forever.

How does a guy buy Microsoft Word these days? Is it a code they email you? Do I just go to the Microsoft website and get the one time purchase Office Home 2024 for $140?

Any advise will be appreciated.
