![]() When creating a document to include fillable forms, the forms upon being filled out act like normal lettering and mess up the formatting of the document. As seen in the first attachment "Word 1" This is the natural state of the document. But upon filling it out the forms move. The whole document is "Fill in Form" only so when I send this out to be filled in I don't want the formatting going crazy. What can I do to stop this. |

Lauout your form using a Word table with fixed column widths. That will keep everything aligned.

Paul is spot-on about using a Table to control placement and spacing.
Also, consider not using legacy form fields and filling in forms protection but instead Content Controls an using the Editing Restriction of "No Changes" with exceptions or simply putting a Group Content Control over the entire form. |
