Hi, Dear Friends! I have set the FN continuation separator to be "This is a continuation FN from the previous page," but it still shows up as a horizontal line. Is there anything else I can try? Thank you, and have a good day! Susan Flamingo |

See Changing the Footnote Separator (Microsoft Word) which appears to work, though I assume, given the proposed content, it is the continuation separator that you should edit.

That is precisely what I did; it still shows a plain horizontal line.
Any other ideas? |

Word no longer supports footnote continuation separators in *.docx files. To see that type of separators, you will have to save in the older *.doc format. See the attached sample document.
