Office 2021: How to automatically repeat table captions if the same table spreads across multiple pages?
In the screenshot below, Table 1 spans two pages. The caption is repeated on the second part of the table, followed by the word “continued.” How can this be managed in Word? |

The only way to do that is to add a suitably-formatted row to the top of the table for the caption and use the table's 'heading row repeat' option. Even then, you won't get the 'continued' text.

There really is no easy solution and Paul has pointed at simplest method.
There is another alternative which allows the 'continued' text and that is to put section breaks before and after the table and add the caption to the header.
