Default Issues with displaying track changes and Comments

Hi All

Topics:
1. Toggling between in-text and in-bubbles display of deletions

2. Setting name and/or colour for display of changes by different reviewers, including your own.

3. Viewing only comments on visible text.

4. Minimizing and maximizing comments.

Since a few updates back (I'm currently on Word for Mac Version 16.86, running on Ventura 13.2.1) it seems to have become impossible to display tracked deletions in-text (as strikethrough) rather than in bubbles.

I'm also sure you used to be able to tell Word what colours to give to edits by different reviewers, including yourself (very useful if, for example, you do two rounds of edits and you want to be able to differentiate between your new edits and your old ones), but can't anymore. Does anyone know how to force deletions to appear in-text instead of in bubbles? Or how to specify the colour for edits by different reviewers (including different rounds of your own edits)?

And on Comments, is it possible to go back to the old system where only those comments on the paragraphs currently in view in the window were shown?

And is it possible to minimize and maximize comments? They now appear in full, meaning that one long comment will make it very difficult to find a comment further down.

I tend to work on documents with a lot of comments. Frankly I find them much harder to work with than they used to be.The need to save a comment before you edit or add another is particularly annoying, as with the issues described above I can spend several minutes trying to find the unsaved comment so I can save it and move on.

Thanks

Caspar
