You may be referring to the relatively recent addition of intrusive spelling suggestions, not on right-click, but on click of something that is marked as a spelling error. I think the only way you get rid of that is by turning off check spelling and grammar as you type.



The mini-toolbar is on or off. All it is triggered by is whether you have selected something.
