In good old 2003 one could make a change to a style and click in the Style box and press Return and a dialog box came up asking if you wanted the style to be updated or not. The default is a ‘Yes’ so another Return made the change.
New to 2010 – please tell me where that wonderful simple function is so I can add it to my personal Menu – oh! it’s called a Ribbon nowadays! |

Right-click on the style in the gallery (in the Styles group on the Home tab) and choose 'Update stylename to match selection'
