I am having trouble with MS Word for footnotes and endnotes. First, it keeps using lower-case Roman numerals, e.g., i, ii, iii, for footnote numbers. I've tried to change this, but it happens each time I create an endnote. Second, the first line should be indented, including the endnote number. However, while I can fix both of these in two minutes, I don't want to have to keep doing that over and over. I'm editing book chapters and I don't want to waste time on this in every single chapter. How can I force MS Word to do what I want globally, or at least within one document? Thanks. |
