MS Office Home and Student 2019 spell

I was trying to use spell check with Windows 11 and word but when I clicked F7 it said to go to file and privacy.
I had to check two boxes. I'm attaching an image that will show you the two boxes I checked. Please tell me if I should have done that.
To view the attachment, I had to click it, then click save and click upper right. I find that unusual to upload a docx. file.

Spell check now works.
