How do I insert an image across two columns?
Hello,
I have a word document that's split into 2 columns like this: original.jpg I'm starting to add illustrations to it. As you can see, I've already got one (the martian with the propeller hat), and I'd like to add another where the red box is. This means I'd like to push the 3 stanzas starting with "I'd introduce Teddy and I, I would," to the top of the second column. This would push the 6 last stanzas in the second column (starting with "The engineer, Sally, has begin,") to the next page. I'm not sure how to do this though. If I insert the image at the beginning of "I'd introduce Teddy and I, I would," it just pushes it to the second column for some reason (even if it kept it in the first column, it takes up on one column). I thought of creating a new continuous break right at the start of "I'd introduce Teddy and I, I would," but that does this: continuous break in first column.jpg If I do it in the second column (right before ""Why, that would be splendid," I'd say,"), it does this: continuous break in second column.jpg So I'm at a loss for what to do. Does anyone know how to accomplish what I'm trying to do? I am using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021 |

Right click the image. Set the wrap to square and drag the picture to where you want it.
