Can't compare two documents
I am trying to compare two versions of a document, but it is not working. From what I can tell, Word is comparing one of them to itself, even though I gave it the name of a different file. How can I make the comparison work? It's very important. I am working on the final proofreading of a translation of the book of the Bible, and I expect the new Bible version to be widely read. How do I force compare to compare my two different documents? Thanks.

Could you give us some examples of which type of differences the two document versions contain? For example, has the text been edited or has the formatting changed?
