Word 2010 page numbers in footers - different even and odd
I have checked different odd/even pages for my headers as I have different text in each. But the footers are all consecutive page numbers. Should I not have different odd/even pages checked when I'm in the first numbered footer, and have Connect to Previous enabled? Or do I need to enter odd and even page numbers separately--as I do the headers--with each "set" being connected to previous (presumably previous chapter's odd or even set of numbers.)

When you have instructed Word to use different odd and even pages, any content that you want in both odd and even footers (or headers) must be added twice.
The quickest way to insert a page number field in a footer (or header) is to click where you want the page number and insert it with Alt+Shift+P.
