StyleRef in page header
Hi dear friends!
My page is formatted that certain paragraphs (but not all) are numbered. So on a certain page we could have numbers 21, 22, 23. The numbers are formatted with a char style named paranum. I want to put that range in the header. So I insert a styleref field (to the text formatted with style ParaNum) which will scan from top to bottom and then another styleref field which will scan from bottom to top. which will render: 21 23 (and I put a hyphen between the fields so it displayed as 21-23). Cool. But if there is only one paranum style on a certain page it will show 24-24. How can I tell styleref field in the header that if there is only one text formatted with style paranum it should display only that? Thank you and have a good day! Susan Flamingo |

This is done with a nested field constructed like this (assuming the style is called XX)
{If {StyleRef XX \n} = {StyleRef XX \n \l} {StyleRef XX \n} "{StyleRef XX \n} - {StyleRef XX \n \l}"}
