I had this problem before. I un-installed one drive. Now after updates I get it back to one drive. How can finaly stp this default.

This is not office 365 and I have never subscribed to one drive.

I doubt that you can ever completely get rid of it.
Under File > Options > Save you can tell Word to save to your local computer by default.

If your Windows version allows it, you can create a local user account, that is, you can avoid using a Microsoft account. This will make OneDrive a little less intrusive.

However, even with a Microsoft account log-in, you can stop OneDrive from synchronizing your files.
