I want to have a basic TOC on the left attached to header
Hi there I'm trying to have a simple TOC on the left hand side of my page which repeats on every page, enabling the user to click to where they want to be (this will most likely be sent out as a pdf), however, when I try to update (using F9 or right click) it doesn't. The document will be landscape (screenshot attached). This has to be used in a template doc going forward, so any help much appreciated!! Thank you Debbie |

Word uses the Navigation Pane to provide this functionality. In Acrobat, the same thing is called Bookmarks. I would strongly recommend you allow those features to be used instead of creating a home-cooked solution with links on the actual page.
