I would like to know if there is a way of copying into Word a bunch of cells from Excel so that Word detects and updates the content of the document accordingly, converting or identifying the pasted text with format "#.#... TEXT" into headings.

Example of excel content:

Pasted text in Word without styling:

All I want is to avoid selecting line by line to choose the right style for each one.

I'm sorry. I'm old. Your example of what you want to do does not tell me what it is you are looking for. I may not be up on jargon.


You can have text that signifies a style you want and use Word's Replace feature to format a paragraph containing that text with a particular style.
