Identify Styles and Update Headings when pasting from Excel
Hi everyone,
I would like to know if there is a way of copying into Word a bunch of cells from Excel so that Word detects and updates the content of the document accordingly, converting or identifying the pasted text with format "#.#... TEXT" into headings. Example of excel content: cap1 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB Pasted text in Word without styling: cap2 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB All I want is to avoid selecting line by line to choose the right style for each one. |

I'm sorry. I'm old. Your example of what you want to do does not tell me what it is you are looking for. I may not be up on jargon.
You can have text that signifies a style you want and use Word's Replace feature to format a paragraph containing that text with a particular style. |
