Hi friends!
![]() Is it possible to build a multiple-level TOC based on headings exclusively in the FN area? Until now I have been using the TC field and it works fine but I cannot add secondary entries (correct?) Thank You Susan Edit: It seems that word totally ignores the "heading 1" for building a TOC when that style is in the FN area. Now I see that my TC fields are actually not in the FN area but in the text area and when they are in the FN area they are ignored. So I will have to build the second level manually with a macro: But My VBA programming days are long gone (about 25 years ago) so I am turning here for assistance: I need a macro that will scan a long Word doc (including the Footnotes area) and get the text of a certain style, and copy that text to a different page with the pg# that it is on. I would think that a macro like this exits already somewhere. Tnak again |
