Trying to extend abbreviation to phrase. I.E. "EMS plus space bar" resulted in "Eat my spaghetti."
At a previous employer I used a lot of phrases consistently. I was able to create shortcuts that really increased my production. An example is I would type "PTD" and hit the space bar. "PTD" would convert to "Patient is totally and permanently disabled from gainful employment."
I was able to use this shortcut with any word document I was working on. I have forgotten how to do that. Could it be a macro? |
