This 'text box' is not a form field/control, cant be selected either. What is a paraID/textID? Help
Hello,
I'm trying to create a documentation for my corporate job. I'm trying to add an input field or form field or text box like this (attached to this post) and I have no luck identifying what this is except looking at the XML code that this can be a paraID or text ID? It can't be selected or highlighted Im not sure what it is, it could be anything simple or something complicated, im not sure how to go about this *** I realized this is a text form field, but how come it is not the same text form field in the latest MS Word? |

For a modern document you would use a content control, found on the developer tab.
The form field in your screenshot can be found under legacy controls, which are there for backwards compatibility. |
