Using MS Office 2010 From a Portable HDD
My Windows 10 laptop with Office 2010 died. I removed the HDD and put it in an enclosure to use as an external or portable HDD. New Windows 11 laptop does not have a drive to read/write CD's etc. so cannot reinstall Office on the new machine. Tried to find Office on the portable HDD to try and start it but could not find any trace of MS Office on the drive. Any suggestions? |

You won’t find installers on your portable HDD. Installing software does more than simply dumping files on a drive.
If you still have the installation media, just buy a USB DVD drive. |
