Im trying to find out how to have non-collapsing text after a collapsed header with text in it without using a section break and without a line brea. With a section break it looks like this:



Collapsed header
(Section break)
Text not in header

I want it to look like this:
Collapsed header
Text not in header

I have searched everywhere and I don't think it is possible so this is my last hope.

Why are you collapsing the heading? What are you trying to accomplish doing this if you do not want to hide the text under the heading?


I am confident you mean heading rather than header. These are different.
What is the difference between headings and headers?

Two workarounds:

• Do not collapse the heading. When you collapse a heading, it collapses all text following the heading until the next heading of that level or a higher level.
• Add a blank paragraph at that level (preferably in a style that is not set to appear in a Table of Contents). You can set the font size for that paragraph to 1 if you want.

A section break is going to cause you to have a lot more complexity in your document file and make editing a much bigger chore.

If you mean that you want to prevent readers of your document from collapsing/expanding heading paragraphs, and their subordinate text, the answer is that you can't.
