Comments and stylesheets
Hello everyone,
My question seems quite simple to me: how can I display comments and styles on the screen at the same time in Word 365? I can only use either/or. Unfortunately, Google can't find anything (very strange). Surely someone can help in the short term? Thank you very much in advance. Best regards |

Click the arrow at the top of the Comments pane to display the menu, then click on the option "Move out of Tab". This will display both panes side by side.

Thank you very much!
I had already seen the arrow. But it only works if you use it in the style sheet. If you have the comments open first, the menu entry does not exist.

When both panes are open, there are tabs over on the side which you can click on to activate either pane. Then you can select which one moves out of the tab.
You can also click and drag the heading at the top of the pane to drag it out as a floating pane. You can even drag a pane over the left border of the window so it snaps to that side if you wish.

Another option is to turn off the so-called modern comments and revert to the behavior of older documents. Comments and tracked changes will then display together in the Markup area.
