Default "Keep with next” and “Keeps lines together” do not work for certain tables

I want to keeps all the captions with their corresponding table together. In order to do so, I select caption and corresponding table and then go the paragraph tab and tick the Keep with next” and “Keeps lines together”. But it unexpectedly does not work for certain tables (I can tick this option but their tick disappear as soon as I close the window .see the attachment last table).
Can you guides me on this issue?

Hi,

I think this was posted while I was on vacation. I just looked at it. I think I see what you're trying to do, but it looks like you have "Keep with Next" and "Keep Together" applied to ALL the paragraphs between the tables, giving it no place to actually break.

Try removing the "Keep" formatting on the blank lines with just a paragraph break.

If that's not what you meant, I apologize, I am guessing.

HI. Pardon me for delay. I had not visit this post for a while. Thank you for your guidance. As I told in the question, I just select the table and its corresponding caption and then go the paragraph tab and tick the Keep with next” and “Keeps lines together”. But the tick unexpectedly disappear. (see the Word attachment in which this issue occurs for table5).
My understanding about concepts like “keep lines together” is not good and I should learn about them more and maybe this is the reason that ,at the moment, I can not solve my issue with your reply.
